wagoneer and cherokee window compatibilities??help please

Will a rear passenger side cargo area window from a 79 cherokee 4 door fit right in place of an 89 grand wagoneer 4 dr in the same spot?And how would I take it outand put it back in?

i think they will interchange. if they look close i would try it. all the other glass is pretty much standard. i removed one of the wayback windows from an 83. iirc, all i did was to remove the inside trim and push the window into the inside. i did not have to cut the gasket. you have 2 chances, the window from the other side is the same ,only inside out
