just sos yall know i didnt build my rig just to sit around and look purdy ;)

last weekend we went wheelin in haspin acres. vehicles present were a cj7 with chevy 1/2 ton axles,a cj7 with ford suspension(coils and radius arms) and bronco/scout axles,a couple of old broncos,a ranger cab on a full size bronco frame, and a chopped and caged scout ii. a well-built bunch of trail rigs

highlights were my good frined dave on his side(again ;) ) and the big orange blazer from top truck challenge being there. him and his guys followed us for alittle while, but went a seperate direction when we turned down a trail that was blocked by a good size log. had to hit it ptretty hard to pop mine over. dont know if we scared em or what :D

all in all was a great time. climed some cool hills, and even jumped in a mudhole, somethin i dont do as often as i used to. did lots of riding.

next trip will be mid may.

thanx fellas.

funny thing RB,most of the rigs i wheeled with you have to use a bit of imagination to tell what they once were ;)

looks like fun man!

Is most of the wheelin' out in your area the slick muddy trail stuff or do you guys have some rocks too?

nope,no rocks to speak of rob. mostly twisty, rutted, muddy trails. indianna mud is alittle different than ohio mud ;) especially after a few days of rain. it had been just long enuff that the sandy, silty indianna mud was thick and sticky. we were throwing big thick clumpy clods from spinning tires. the worse part is that the stuff dries like cement. i think ill build an adobe mud house for my dog out of what rode home with me :D

we are hoping soon to make a some trips th KY,badlands or tellico sos we can play on some rocks for a change.

scotty, that looks like one hell of a good time. that's some gooey nasty stuff and i like it. i consider myself a well rounded wheeler. i like the thick nasty stuff and love the rocks. if you're coming to tellico anytime soon, YOU BETTER LET ME KNOW! i'll be working down in the Cherokee National Forest all summer long, so i'll be on site for any kind of fun.

ps- i think the TTC guy just got scared being next to an FSJ ;) :D

Bling bling, that definitely looks badass. I haven't seen any pics of your rig in action in forever man. I can't wait to have the buggy done. I'm freaken out man. I'm with OC on the well rounded thing. I love the rocks but I ain't scared of the nasty stuff. My favorite is when the rocks are covered with the nasty stuff then you got it all (ie tellico) smile.gif In my opinion that's the toughest kinda wheelin there is. There's just something out going up Schoolbus hill in the pouring rain knowing that if you let off the gas or drop below 5 grand you're gonna be screwed.
