I installed the 14 bolt last week and started the D60 front today. Got the u bolts made for the front today. Tomorrow I'll make the spring plates for the front.
The front sits around 6-7" higher than stock with the spring-over.

Thanks! I really miss driving it. The budget says it won't be done until next year :(

I have to get 'clockable' caliper brackets  I don't like the idea but it is less hassle than moving the springs.

Yep, there sure are a large quantity of boogers on there. I do plan on grinding and rewelding to make it pretty. Most of this is just for mock up purpose. The whole truck is going to the media blaster in a week or so.

I wasn't going to say anything because it's not my nature to criticize people's work, but my first thought was the looks of those beads. They're not pretty. I stick weld with a little cracker box arc welder too, so I know the difficulties. But then agian, I wouldn't have said it looks like bird dookie. That wasn't very cool. Tell you what, grind those down a little, crank up the amps a little, and put you a steady bead across there. Then post up some pics with a little :flippoff: next to them. smile.gif

I used a generic mild steel stick for the axle tubes. I cut the perch off the front axle today. For some reason it just got boogers, yet the rear perches went together real nice. I'll put a little more heat into it tomorrow.

But, mostly because I drive the truck- as much as possible- So the the stock drum brakes just don't cut it. It will be great with 4 wheel disc/hydroboost.
