I am having a H*** of a time finding a suitable replacement for My BW 1339  . I Dig my Dana 44s and dont want to have to move the gas tank to replace the darn thing. I guess I could allways go for the Milemarker conversion and keep it but its an Aluminum shell! Anyone have any good ideer's? :(

np 205 if you want beef and dont care about the higher low range. dont worry about using any centered output transfer case with your offset rear 44.

only thing you can use without swapping the whole tranny,or swapping the tailsahft and adapter in your current one, is another QT

Right on guys, Thanks for the input.
I do like the low ratio and the Umpf with the TH400, Milemarker it is.

One question; why do you want to do the Milemarker conversion? Is your central differential toasted?

You could try a Spicer (Dana) 18 out of an older (1960's or older) Jeep. It would probably necessate a tailshaft change in the tranny as well as a new trans to t-case adapter but it's possible. Novak sells a kit to do this: http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_124.htm

The 18 is offset like the QT. It also has a port behind the tail shaft that you can bolt an overdrive module to.
