i used brackets from "derbinator" on the colarado k5 page on my 14 bolt

$100 shipped,incuding a single spacer(not 4 seperate ones-big strength advantage) and grade 8 bolts.
in addition you will need 2 3/4 ton front rotors, front calipers(caddy rear calipers if you want a mechanical e brake),front pads and front hoses. i bought all my stuff for 77 3/4 ton chevy 4wd. it will run you close to $300 total if you buy rotors, etc. new. if you wanna scrounge junkyard stuff you could do it quite a bit cheaper.
$100 may sound like alot for the brackets when guys are selling a template for $10,and other guys are selling brackets for $65,however,after making my own brackets for my old 44,its worth my time to just buy em. unless you have access to a mahcine shop, cutting out the brackets from a solid 3/8" piece of steel with a grinder is reaaaal time consuming. the guys sellin brakcets for $65 do not give you a spacer,or give you 4 small tubes to space the bracket out. as was mentioned the single spacer is a much stronger design. alot of the $65 bracket guys also do not give ya bolts.

Auto Zone has the rotors fro $25 apiece, and the calipers for $12. 77 3/4 ton chevy 4x4. There is a small core on the calipers, but you can just take any old caliper up there and they will give you your core:) Are you putting the 14ff under your J10? I did that just awhile back and there are a few obstructions that the wag and chero guys don't have to deal with. If you are, email me, and I can give you some heads up! Dennis
$12 calipers? Do you have a part number for those? I paid a lot more for my calipers from autozone.. hmmmm

No part number, but they are cheap for a 77 K20 4x4. If your putting a SRW 14ff under a J10, you need to either
A) Make your own disk brake brackets. Or buy a set and drill 4 new holes.
B) Inboard your springs.
The reason is the springs sit to far out, and the holes for the brakets you buy, will bolt up to where the caliper won't fit cause of contact with the top of the spring pack. I have my caliper hanging down more to avoide this. I just yesterday moved the brakets up further, and they are just right behind the axle tubes now. Dennis
