I will describe this the best I can. After you take the allen head bolts out and remove the manual locking device, there is a clip that clips on the end of the stub shaft. Then there is a large clip, that goes around the outer inside diameter of the rotor hub assymbly. Then what appears to be an round, aluminum piece slides out. It has teeth on the outside and a center piece with teeth that match your stub shaft end. Also the center piece turns on what appears to be a bearing. I pulled this peice today, and it's totally seperated. So I was told that i would have to buy a whole new warn replacement hub. Surely some one has replaced their lockouts latley and has this piece? Please don't make me pay for a new warn!

Is it full time locked???... i think i might have what your looking for on a parts 64 truck.... it has 6 lug drums on it....

OR is it a locking hub...

It's a locking hub, and 8 lug.

It's the piece that the the allen bolts go into. Also has the little screw to hold the gear and spring into it. Dennis

ok... THAT PIECE is in two separate peices? :eek:

or are you referring to the middle section that slides out after removal of the set screw?

if the outer peice is in 2.... you need a new hub... sorry

Hey buddy, if you're running the stock 30 spline outers I have a warn premium hub that will fit that I'll sell ya for cheaper than a new set. Since I went to 35 spline they've just been sitting in the shop.

Yep, thats it! The piece with the set screw holding the gear in. It has bearings in the middle holding the smaller circular piece in. Mine is in two pieces. Bearing is completly gone. Andrew, I will email you. Dennis

Dennis, sounds good. RB, I'll let you know if Dennis doesn't want them. As for price I haven't thought about it yet. Something reasonable. Let me dig em up and I'll let ya know.
