Has anyone had a problem with your steering "Losing a tooth" when turned to far one way or the other, I'm not talking about broken teeth, I'm talking about turning all the way to the left or right, and when you turn the other way the steering wheel turns but nothing happens... typically it only happens to me when something is wedging the tire to full lock, I have to back up slightly and then it will catch and work fine... Otherwise my steering seems pretty stout, it just does this when steered to full lock...

I don't think losing a tooth is possible with a recirculating ball P/S setup?? Strange, maybe you're extending past the boxes limits at full lock and it's interfering with the P/S pump operation. Interesting.

I think what you describe sounds very similair to what would happen when my box was loose on the frame.

The thing is that the steering wheel will spin put the steering box isn't doing anything, steering shaft input is turning but steering box output is not.... The mount is fine and there's no linkage prob's, It's like it just loses mesh....
