Is that muffler blowing right on the shock? I would think the heat from that would eventually fry it? It kinda looks like a ricer muffler...lol
Diff covers look great, what are they mad of? Something like 1/4in plate?

Pretty snazzy in a Mad Max/WaterWorld sorta way...
What?
No digital reasout of gear oil level and viscosity vs. hours?

Very nice...I picked up one for the 14 bolt rear and will later get one for the 60 front. I think you should be able to bounce off rocks with no problem.
Have you trimmed that 14 bolt any?

they look like they're made of out tin! :D :D :D
I gather the ring on these things is like 0.5" thick, that the case?

I see you got the ones where they didn't grind their welds smooth. I like the look of those much better. Well done welds are PRETTY!!!!

psuedo off subject question... with a 14 blt rear, how well is that driveshaft working being all angled like it is..i wanna run a ff 14, and eventually a d300 tcase, but i wanna know how well a 14 would run "temporarily with qtrac...

The covers have a 3/8 in ring and the cover part is 1/4. I love them. I haven't shaved my diff at all with the 39.5 I have the about same clearance as before with 44 and 37 in tires. As far as the shock haven't had any problems. I just need to rejet the thing is running rich.

I just got my covers back from the powder coat shop. They are super beef. I will try and post picks when I get them on. D44 front and M20 rear.

blt2krl,
How flat were your covers when you got them? As in, was there any wobble when you set them flange down on a flat surface?
My covers aren't totally flat and I was wondering if RTV will take up some of the slack or if I need to get them machined to be perfectly flat...
TIA

They look cool, btw.

TIAThe covers seated perfectly. NO wobbles at all. I would think you would want a good machined surface to prevent the sucker from leaking. I guess it would depend on how much and how many high and low spots you had..
