The heater fan in my 88 wagoneer isnt working and upon inspection of the resistor the coils are fine but the resistor that connects two of the terminals is bad. Does anyone know what type of resistor it is? I was thinking i could just solder in a new one but i cant make out the numbers on it to see what kind it is.
Thanks

I found a replacement thermister for the heater at radio shack, only costs about a buck. I'm going to put it in tomorrow and if it works I'll post the part number.

That's where I got mine. Never had any problems since, been about 4 years.
