Dont know about the J-10 but it is taking some serious trimming to get a standard Din cassete head unit in my Waggy. Will probably end up notching the glove box.

A 1 DIN will fit just about anyplace a standard sized radio will fit, assuming it is not too deep.(front to back)

If you want a direct fit, Kenwood still makes a post style deck, check www.crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com)

A DIN one will not fit in the space of a shaft style one without major trimmage...

i installed a sony cd/mp3 (din mount) player in my 79 cherokee. the trimming was pretty minor. i just laid up the insert, eye-balled it to center, marked it with a thin tip sharpie, and cut it with a dremel. i slid the radio in 20 minutes after i started...just take your time.
