I knnow I have to dow something about the steering on the front axle swap. I have a Dana 60 from a 78 F-350 (Driver's Side Drop).
1 - What is needed to make the swap to Hi-Steer?
2 - Who has the best products and prices for these parts?
3 - Is there enough clearence to run a rear tie-rod?
4 - Tie-rod ends or Heim Joints?
I plan on running a Hydro Assist on the steering.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

High steer arms and new drag link
2 - Who has the best products and prices for these parts?
You can check around but the ones I would recommend are parts mike, posion spider customs, and sky manufacutring
3 - Is there enough clearence to run a rear tie-rod?
there should be but you will need two double ended steering arms
4 - Tie-rod ends or Heim Joints?
I would go with TR is you drive it on the street. TR will last longer and you can lube them
I plan on running a Hydro Assist on the steering.
KYJ10 has a pretty nice way of setting it up check with him.

I have mine this way. I got the Poison Spider arms. Actually, you just need one double and a single. The double for the drag link and tie rod, and the single you run toward the back for the other side of the tie rod. My only concern is the clearance you end up with by the pan. I have a SOA 60, with 44044's and chevy shackle up front, and have hit the tie rod into the pan. You need to make sure you get your bump stops are setup to the correct length. I have yet to do this, but will this week. Other than that, it's pretty cool. Looking under there and not seeing anything but the tube and housing. Should really protect everything, as well as have less up front to hang up.

Here is a shot of the double. I have changed a few thing since this photo, but you can get a look at the arm. It came with spacer inside, and you can get the bolts at home depot. They have a real nice angle to them, as your knuckle actually sits sideways slightly. This angle makes the tie rod ends sit perfectly straight.
