I found a 72 j truck that was for military use and forestery service. It had dana 60 axles under it but some one cut them out. I took my 79 cj7 superlift springs and shocks and the hangers from my cj. The springs are only 1 year old and the replace meant axles are dana 44. I put the springs under the frame and it gave me room for my 38.5 boogers. The motor I put in is a rebuilt 69 buick 350 from my parts truck and tranny. Will these springs hold up under the frame. I just fired it up and I'm waiting for my drive shafts. Thanks for any help you guys.

They should hold up, they may sag faster do to the extra weeight of the truck compaired to a CJ, but I dont see them breaking so long as the mounts are done correctly. Although D44 axles wont hold up to well to 38.5" boggers unless you're a finess driver.
