76 cherokee trans?

I found a 76 with a three speed manual. What tranny is this and is it any good? It is behind a 360.

It should be a T15. Good transmission, but it really is marginal for offroad due to it's 1st gear ratio being too high. It will stand up to the 360. smile.gif

I just got rid of a 76 Cherokee with a 258 engine in it. It had the venerable, albiet lightweight, T150 3 speed. Can I assume the T150 was also used behind the V8's? :confused:

It's the T15A. The T150 was never used in FSJ's.
