Got my doors off today. Dana 60 front up and done. Still need to weld on some brackets for my steering ram, and theres not much room when running tie rod behind the axle! Got my re-re-rebuild back, bolted and injection system back on. Also need to weld on some shock eyes, and maybe Thursday, I will be running again. I have my 1410 yokes up front, but no shaft yet. But will be happy to just drive around in 2 wheel for the first time in what seems years.
I plan on taking a bunch of pics when I get the frame shortened, flat bed done, and a quick spray paint job. I will try and do a kind of right up on everything I did, along with a picture of all the new stuff. Say a prayer for my re-re-rebuild. I would really hate to pull it again. And the machine shop would really hate to give me my money back after all this! Dennnis

For shafts Im going with Andrews idea of two 1410 yokes, and a thick shaft. With the revolvers up front, the angle actually turns back, and stays about normal, as the axle drops. Should work fine. I was talking to the guy at the drive shaft place, and when I told him I wanted a thick shaft with 1410's on each end, he said that that was overkill time 100. So should be fine. Dennis

Beef, it's whats for dinner.

I didnt realize that the 1410's where that much bigger. I suddenly feel small and insignificant ;)
