View Full Version : J10 finally on the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The re-re-rebuild was brought back to life today for the third time. So far so good. Only been maybe 20 miles, but the two previous attempts were allready screwed. I made one screw up when I tried to turn my steering wheel. I used the Poison Spyder double arm to run everything behind the axle. I didn't think to switch my ram hoses around. Luckily I realized immidiatly that the ram and steering gear where fitting eachother, and switched hoses around!

So far the 60 and all my fab work seem fine. Still have a way to go, like frame shortning, and front driveshaft, but at least Im on the road. Looks funny with no front end and lights. Just a radiator. If I can get this bed off, and spray the thing, I can get the front end back together. Pics will be coming soon.

I don't have a camera, and only have dial up! But will be going over to a friends within the next week. He had a cam and cable modem. So should be able to post them to my webshots. They will be coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dennis,

When you D/L the pics from the camera... save the originals and post (on the web) a downsized and compressed copy... takes about 30 secs to make a 600k pic into a 50k 640x480 copy and saves us dialup folks on the loading time... :D

I wish I knew more about computers, I feel lucky just to get them on my webshots page!!! But I will try and learn how to post pics and size them right. Dennis
