i need some good motor mounts..

what are some good motor mounts that will take a beating? my engine torqued over so much the power steering pump dented my hood w/the stock mounts :eek:

If you're doing that, then a chain limiting-strap is in order. There are plenty of aftermarket polyurethane mounts; just get the ones for a V-8 CJ application.

i bet your tranny mount is toast too if it went that far as to hit the hood :/

I am using the Daystar polyurethane motor mounts...haven't been able to drive the Jeep yet, but they look tough as heck! Here's a link:

Dan if its moving that much my guess is you've already got a broken mount, and Id change the tranny mount too while your at it.
