I just picked up a J20 and someone pointed me to this website. Looks like its full of useful info. I plan on building it for trail only use. Im also thinking usuing Rockwells since you can get them cheaper than the Dana 60. Im trying to get as much tire under the truck with the least amount of lift. Truck will not have a bed, and the fenders will be cut. Im looking for anyput you guys may have and any usefull tips.

I thought the J20 came with dana 60 rear ? Anyway in the JP magazine their putting rockwells under a J20 w/ 46in IROCKS TSL tires maybe you could find a copy..

Like Gator advsied JP Magazine is in the process of putting Rockwells under a J4000. There has been some involved fabrication to get them in, boxing the frame, locating shackle points, etc. Hammer is going to be putting a set under a Wag. I am looking at doing this but most likely late this year or next year, under a 74 Cherokee.

Keep everyone advised of your progress...and post lots of pictures.

The J20 does have a 60 rear, but it has 30 spline axle shafts.

I have problems keeping axles in my Dana 70. LOL

well when you pull them put them on a pallet and ship them to me I need rears....

No thanks I wanna get stronger rears I might have a set soon from a guy I just purchased the new tailgate from but thanks ..Hey is the front driver drop or passanger?

Front is a drivers side drop. If you know anybody that does want them let me know.
