View Full Version : Transfer case mounts?

To the left of the main t-case mount, is a smaller adjustable mounting.
Two round rubbers fitted to the mian bracket. these are then bolted to the cross member.
Should these be tight? mine has about 1/2" gap now. 208 t-case.

Hi Graham long time no speak!!! Yes they are to be SNUG. They are torque bushing, to counter twisting of drive train. While it is not imparetive it is real tight, it should be a limited movement.

Thanks Pete, thought this maybe thier function, so guess I'll adjust them. Might explian why the main t-case mount is shot.GT71 Geoff, As above limited time now, but will catch up one day............???
