Please post here if you have to cancel your KOA reservations. That way, the empty spot might be available for someone else who decides later to come.

Thank You!

The Timberline campground has opened up.
Won't be long now, 3 months and counting, lot of snow to melt yet

I heard the old-timers yesterday predicting that Black Bear wouldn't be open until late July.

Are you kidding me Ralph? I just about had Tawna convinced to do Black Bear and we won't be there the end of July.

We'll see...could be true Ralph. Lot-o-snow this winter and spring! ;)

Thank You! Ok, here's my repost of a previous one in another thread. Guess I got confused with all the various sign in/sign off threads on this...
Anyway;

"I'm going to have to bail. I cut my offshore/work trip by two weeks to deal with a family snafu here so I'm now out of sync with the work/off time thing. Schedule now puts me offshore on opening day
Anyway...if someone wants to take my slot (52C) "email" me and we'll work it out with Dave at KOA. I haven't talked to him yet regarding this and if no one wants the slot I'll officially cancel with Dave in a week or so."

Haven't heard back yet but 52C should be up for grabs but you'll need to deal with Dave directly from here on in.

Flint I don't know about the others but instead some poor unsuspecting camper getting stuck in the middle , maybe dave could move us around to where we all stay togather

Yeah the owner of a chromed out H2 on 22's prolly wouldn't be a happy camper. ;) Not really a prob there though I guess worrying about finding an H2 in a camp ground. 'Camping out' to an H2 owner prolly means no cable TV....

friends of mine back in Tx the wife was a gorgeous 6 foot tall red head Larry was always joking that her idea of roughing it was doing with out room service!

I posted in the other cancellation thread, also.

I'm not going to make it. If anyone wants site 51, shoot me an email or PM.

Sorry to hear this FSJDreamin... :(

OK - Looks like we are down to 24 sites reserved.

51, 52A and 52C are recently available. Each person is responsible for contacting KOA if they want to move to a vacated site. Dave can't move us around to stay in one group on my word since they are all individually reserved.

My recommendations right now would be for Ralph Rogers to contact FSJDreamin about 51 and coordinate a call with Dave to get that site.

Ya well, Denise and I are going to elbow in on your drinkin' buddy thing. I'm going if I have to drag the Cherokee there with Kenny's truck. ;) :D

Even though I am still hoping there is still a chance I can attend the ReUninvasion I am going to hand off my campsite (47D) to another FSJ'er at this time. It is a vital spot and don't want to be scrambling trying to fill it should I cancel at the last minute. I'm sure I can take over another FSJ'er cancellation when I'm positive I can make it. Please respond to this board as well as by e-mail at tgwinn@azfsjc.com if you would like to take over my reservation.
Thanks!~Tom

Tom - Hope you can make it man! Please contact Ralph about this. Seems he showed some interest a while back when you began to say things about possibly not coming.

I cancelled site 51. Ralph Rogers had told me he would transfer to the site, but haven't heard from him in a couple days. Dave said he would "hold" it to see if another FSJer wanted it.

hmmmmm... Maybe Ralph is still considering getting Gwinn's site.

FSJDreamin -sorry about that. I just went back through my e-mails and saw yours. Don't know how I missed it - work must have gotten in the way.

And yes, Flint, I am waiting to hear back from Tom. I left him info here, and e-mailed him directly. I can't find his phone number so I guess we just wait a little longer. I woud be willing to take it if no one else wants it.

Hey, no reason to say sorry. I just didn't want you to think I was putting the site out for public feeding without touching base with you first.

It's still killing me that I won't be there. You plan something for, what, 8 months and 6 weeks out you have to scrap the whole thing. I was really hoping to meet you folks. And put this "new" Jeep of mine through some paces.

Ralph Rogers

Flint,
I got an e-mail from Tom. Looks like I'm getting his KOA spot. He needs to contact KOA and cancel first, then let me know so I can nab it. Then I can cancel mine.
I will take it from the 12th to the 17th.
Ralph

Ralph - If it turns out this location is not good to host social gatherings, I bet the fire tender (ColeTrickle) would be happy to host it... :D :D :D

Ralph Rogers
06-08-2005, 05:40 AM
As soon as Tom lets me know I'm gonna get it. We can work out the rest from there.
I don't mind tending fire. Fire's cool, heh, heh, heh.

Unless someone else really wants it. If so, we better get moving on this.

OK, I called KOA and got Tom's site, 47D, from the 12th to the 17th. So sunday night we'll have to find a different party spot for the last party.
