Has anyone looked into replacing the TINY side mirrors on the jeep with the later type BIG mirrors?

I have the large towing package style mirrors on my Chero...you can get them just about anywhere and they're easy to install. I would rim each mounting hole in silicone or some such and use a pretty finely-threaded self-tapping sheetmetal screw. Otherwise, the average monkey with the average drill could complete the mounting job in no time. As far as covering the stock mirror holes, it looks like a job for BondoMan!
Something else to consider: the large mirrors vibrate like crazy at highway speeds--you don't get dizzy easily, do you?

bignblue,
thanks for the info. however, i was hoping to "eat my cake and have it". i want to use something like the dodge pickup power mirrors so that i can still have my power mirrors and these are not quite as large as the towing mirrors. anyone else have any ideas?
