I got a little 2in extender piece in my kit for my steering and figured the best section to weld it to is the first linkage coming out from the cab because it sits vertical. But would need a 3in piece for that to work correct? Why did they give me the 2in piece..
If you guys have any pics or suggestions on where the best place to weld the a extension, would appreciate it.

you sure that 2 in pc isnt to extend the trans shift linkage?the bodylift puts a lot of stress on the rag joint at the steering box.mine failed twice a while back.i replaced it with a flaming river steering u joint and its never failed.it cost around 80 bucks but i consider it one of the best safty mods ive ever done.

Man, i'm a nerd.. Thats what i meant by "steering" linkage.. Transmission shifting linkage is what i meant smile.gif
My shift linkage was long enought that I only had to unbolt tha little poart that it khoooks to the tranny with , lift the trauck, and reattach...I used the little peivcce to extend the linkage 4 the t-case tongue.gif
That was a 2" perf. acc. lift...
Hope fully, yours will work out the same...and hopefully I made sense in explaining that...email me if u have ??ss

hmm.. i thought for a 3in body lift on a GW, you didn't have to do anything to the t-case but adjust it?
