Fuel Level Sending Unit

I need to replace my Sending Unit and I just called the Dealer. He wants $52.52 http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/eek.gif for a new one. My cousin just replaced his on his CJ for $20 http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/smile.gif.

Where can I get a replacement sending Unit? Does any one know of a catalog or place I can order one from?

That's pretty much the going price at dealers, and you might have to wait a while since they're made in batches and often sell out quickly.

You might check prices at Specialty Jeeparts, 800-504-5337, and Mopar4Less, 800-748-2139.

I have not checked it out myself, but you might try www.crownautoparts.com (http://www.crownautoparts.com) . I think they also make repro timing covers for those who may be interested.
