Oh My God!

Wow!

I get so jealus when I see someone that has the patience and know how of completing such a major task as this.

Obviously, this is a several year project. I'm sorta doing the same thing to my gw, but I lack the resources and MONEY to do what you are doing.

It looks like to me that a lot of the parts are new. Did you just clean them up real good, or are they actually new parts. Like everything on the chassis for instance. X-cass, trans, all the linkages, they all look bran new?

seriously,looks really awsome-cant wait to see the finished product. i spent alot of time painting my axles,trans and t case before i put them in,and you cant hardly tell anymore-unless i crawl under it and scrape off some of the mud! http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/biggrin.gif my sister though i was nuts for actually cleaning and painting something i had every intention of getting dirty and burrying in mud...

but it was definately a good feeling to look at it right after,with everything shiny and clean.

Thanks for all the comments, i'm glad that i'm not the only one that appreciates all the work that ive done to my fsj. I'm working on a word doc. with all the specs. i'll post it as soon as it's done

Scotty I think that your sister and my wife might be related, My wife also thinks I'am nuts, then again so do alot of other people. My wife and I are from southern oh.

Mark i've heard about por but never used it,
what I did was sandblast and/or sand everything and prime/painted with enamel paint, it probably won't last too long but thats ok, it will be covered with mud before to long.
