need ez locker help

i have used detroit ez-locker that im about to install. the instructions arent the greatest. there are two cup shaped spacers that fit inside the clutch plates and rest against the other two plates. which direction do the two cupped pieces face? does the axle fit inside these, and the flat faces rest against the pin or does the two cupped sides face eachother and the pin and the axle butts up against the flat side? any help or suggestions would be great. the instructions also show a thrust washer... is this something i reuse from my existing carrier or is this something that was supposed to come with the locker? thanks a ton

Flat side's to the cross pin. The thrust washer goes between the side gears and the carrier.
