While going through the glove box on my new '88 Grand Wagoneer, I found the invoice from the dealership the Jeep was originally bought from.

A bit over $25,000? That's not too shabby.
I am surprised that my '88 ever went for that much!

I had always wondered if the build sheets were ever shipped out with the newly builts Waggys like they did w/ muscle cars. The build sheets for Camaros were always found stuffed inside the seats.
I always imagined looking inside my front seat and finding the build sheet w/ all the specs for my waggy. That would be COOL

That's where I found the build sheet fpr my J-10...I pulled out the seat, and there it was, stuck in the springs for the seat. That showed that it had 2:73 gears though... :(

Mine too. Driver's side seat springs. I was amazed it was there, and still legible!

I found the build-sheet for my '78 Cherokee; confirmed that it had 3.54 gears, but not much more useful information. Kind of useless for me, though, considering that I don't intend to keep ANYTHING stock. smile.gif

I've got a buddy of mine in the Border Patrol looking to see if he can find a copy of the contract specs mine was built from. I'd sure like to see it if he can find it.
