I just got my new (Used) transfer case put in my wagon. Does any one have a easy way for filling the thing with oil?????

I checked the fill hole before I put it on man is it small. It looks as though that the easiest way may be to take off the floor panal. http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/eek.gif

Go to the parts store any buy you a $3 pump that fits on top of a 1/2 gal plastic jug and a couple of feet of plastic hose. Looks like a hand pump for mustard etc at a low rent resuarant.

The most cheapest way, Get a squirt nozzle from a hypoid bottle, attach it to the plastic atf bottle stick it inn the top hole on the case and squeeze the s**t out of the bottle. You won't quite get all of it out of the container but it is the best way I found.

this is another maintenance thing that having a 3 inch body lift makes a bunch easier. i have a lid that screw onto the bottle with a hose attached.i think i got it at the 'Zone.you can even turn the flow on or off by twisting the base. but ANYway,i simply screw that sucker on ther, hold the quart up hgh,and squeeze it in,glug, glug, glug. i used to use a pump, but it took waaaaayy too long.simply squeezing out of the bottle works much better for me.
