constant voltage regulator?

79 chero ... erratic fuel & temp gauges, especially temp .. oil and amp seem fine .

does the chero have a constant voltage regulator for the dash gauges?

Yes it is in the Tempo gauge, from what I understand the gauge has to be changed. However I have pulled a part of the back of the printed board and replaced it with another and it brought the gauges back to life. It is pressed onto two pins behind the Temp gauge area.
