QUADRA TRAC CHAIN INSTALL

Way cool. OK thanks to all your input I decided to install a new chain in my 79 Waggie instead of putting a different transfer case. Ijust picked up a Brorg Warner/ Morse chain $160. and lo and behold the shop had a good used part time kit that he sold me for $150.00.
Any good tips on installing the part time kit and the chain?
Also without the diffential in the case does that mean I can use some other lube rather than the $12.00 per quart Q trac fluid?

That's correct. I run straight 30 weight "non-detergent" motor oil in mine but most folks run ATF in it after the conversion.
