Flipping your U-bolts?

I had saw an article once that gave a detailed description of how to do this. I can not for the life of me find it. I am talking about fliping the u-bolts in the front so that you will have a better approach angle and you won't have to worry about hitting your u-bolts on the rocks. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? Has anyone else seen this article anywhere that can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
