So who makes that center console? Who did you get the carpet from? Any regrets on either of them?

the console was salvaged from a dodge durango and sheet metal added to fit contor of floor, the carpet came from Bj's straight forward install i also used sound deadner on areas of the floor prior to installing the carpet.

Hmmm... Dodge Durango center console... Now you're giving me ideas :) I doubt I find a Durango anywhere out here, but I can probably find something similar that I modify and make it work...

Did you do a full carpet kit all the way to the rear?

I'd like to put a rubberized bedliner type of material in my cargo area and carpet the front and rear seat areas. I'm also trying to decide what center console I want to end up going with. I think we're going to go junkyard hunting this weekend, and if I don't find anything, probably build my own to fit a tv for the 3 and 5 year old that will be riding in the rear.

you may want to fab up a unit yourself then to keep down how much modifing is done, your kids would watch tv my twin 6 year olds are usually telling me to go faster or deeper in the mud they love the wheeling part of the jeep are you doing your side panels and wheel humps in carpet or other

The YJ is for the wheeling. The Waggy will mostly be doing towing, camping, and traveling duties with the occasional light off-roading thrown in. I'd like to add as much luxury too it as possible to keep me from off-roading it and tearing it up...

I'm not sure what I plan on doing with the rear area yet. I've been thinking about doing some side panels in wood/fiberglass with custom speaker pods, and then rhino lining everything in the back, including the inner fender humps, floor, and tailgate... All plans are still in the works though.
