now i have a CJ-5 with manual brakes could the hydroboost be fitted to work this? im running 33 12.50 15's so with manual brakes it can get hairy trying to stop fast

heck all I have is manual brakes now but I do have a hydro boost system in the back of my truck what all do I need to do to convert it?

You might want to switch to disc brakes in the front. No surprises then. :D

are these boosters only on 77-78 cads or are they avalible on newer cads? how do you test to tell if they are good or not before installing?

After 78 the boosters are vac....
No real way of testing, I had installed mine and leaked like a siv! It slowed down alot after a month, but wound up using it as a core and got a new one.

True Todd...there is no way of testing a unit short of installing it to see if it leaks. :eek: No big deal. If it does, the core value far exceeds what you will pay for it at the bone yard. :D
