My poor J10, done so much work to it, but it still has a major exhaust leak which I would really like to fix...but....I have been unable to find the part.
As my sig says it has a 258, and being an 81, it has the smog (air) injection tubes. There is a full rail, and then there are bolts that go into the exhaust manifold. Well oneof these holes has a brokeoff head. So exhaust shoots right out of it (well not toally, it has a screw in it to help keep it from shooting flames). I have searched high, low, and then some places I dont care to mention to find just ONE of these special bolts. But alas... I have been unsuccessful in my quest.
If ANYBODY has one of these, I will be *VERY* greatful!!
P.S. - No a 360 one wont work.

Going to PnS this morning. I'll see what they have. So what do you need exactly? the bolt that bolts the exhaust manifold to the head? or are you looking for a new (old) exhaust manifold?

Ineed the air injection bolt that bolts the air injection tubes to the manifold. The have a hole through the center of them.

Is it a Banjo bolt? If so go to a hydraulic shop.

Is this somthing I can help with?
Let me know what thread size, how long the treads need to be, and what size hole it has. Probly has a cross hole in it too.
I could make you a set for cheap.

I don't know for sure, but I will look around, I might still have all of the ones that came off of my '79 and yes it was the 258-6. Having dealt with the 360 as well the 360's had larger and odd size bolts. I took the Air Injection system off years ago, and being a pack rat I may still have those banjo bolts. I may still have the tubing rig that bolts to the manifold as well. I will look this weekend and see if I can find them. I won't be able to let you know until Monday. My modem at home has gone belly up so I have to wait until I get to work on Monday. Although if you don't care if that one is actually pumping air just get a bolt of the correct size and put it in as a block.

I would prefer it to function, i think mondo's will work. If not, I now have 2 other choices smile.gif

I put a new modem in the computer so I am back on line. I did find all six of the banjo bolts. So if you need a couple of them e-mail me at sbonley@hotmail.com with your address and I will send them to you.
