OK - just can't take it any more - all work and little play - going to run Golden Spike & Gold Bar Rim today. OK, sure, why not... :cool:
Well, we had some delays in Dove Creek, but finally got outa there about 10:30. Looked dark up to Monticello. There was a GM car of some kind all trashed up past Hole in the Rock. Wow. Decided to run Hells Revenge instead since the day was getting on. Got my fenders trimmed last weekend finally and had the 33's back on. That locker and 15 lbs of air made things work real smooth even in the rain and hail. Climbed Tipover Challenge too! Once you get up it about halfway and get twisted around, the only way out is up. Buried the receiver hitch in the rock trying to get a good line. WhooYeah. Buried the rear tires without rubbing and finally got the right line
and snuck right up. The Escalator was way too slimey to attempt. But, got some wheelin in and feel mucho better after making a full day of it without breaking anything. Buddy Quincy ground the distributor gear off his Br*nco and spent over an hour fixing it with an old gear that was missing a tooth. Man, thought I may have to tow
him outa there. WHAT A BLAST!! Came home to snow flying just now. What a day. In a FSJ. Yeah...
