Craig Nichols is up from Pennsylvania visiting his brother, so we had a little FSJ get-together yesterday, and want to follow it up with a trail-ride this Saturday. Craig's got a real clean rig with 4" Rusty's lift on his truck, but has to drive it back home 300 miles, so we won't be bashing our trucks to death. So we're going to do some forest trails near me here in Providence, about midway between Boston and Hartford, for any New England FSJ'ers who would be interested. Here are some shots of the trail from our last time out there:

there are bypasses for all the real tough stuff, though. Anyone interested can e-mail me directly at rbarry@providence.edu for further information and to arrange a meeting point. Craig has to be back for family business by noon, so we're planning on being done with the trail by 11:00am. That means we're going to hit the road for the trails at about 5:30-6:00, though people could certainly meet us out there later. We'll be on CB Channel 7

Just got a new front driveshaft today so I do have 4WD again but I'm just not ready to go offroad yet. Plus 5Am is WAY too early for me, maybe next time a little later 9-10?

I also posted the Danvers cruise night if you can make it weds, that's pretty far for you though (near salem, peabody).

Well, Craig did great his first time out wheeling. Nobody needed a strap, we didn't break anything (important, since Craig was driving 300 miles to go home the next morning), and the weather was perfect.

Here is a page full of shots,

but the closeup of Craig's truck kind of sums it all up:
