Here is my J10:) I bought it 2 years ago, took it all apart to re-do it from the frame up, then It sat for 6 months and I found my waggy so then decided to sell it to a buddy and he let it sit for a year and as of yesterday I made a deal with him to buy it back:D Now I have 2 FSJ's :thumbsup: ...............................my wife is sooooooo pleased

Well most everyone has already seen this one, but this is Mikki's truck '78/'79 J10/J20. 360, turbo 400, quadtrac, 8 lug Dana 44 front, Dana 60 in the back.

Yes it is the DIY bedliner, I want to say they used Durabak on the body and Herculiner in the bed. Somethink like that anyway, they had a build tread with all the details on what they used.

I would like to know how it is holding up?

First one I owned. 78' 258/T15/D20 w/ 3.54's. Still had sticker notifying driver of Warn Hubs on the outside of the Glovebox Slightly wrecked it and then sold it to my buddy. He SOA'd it and wheels the snot out it.

Here's my old J10, '76 Pioneer with 401 (Holley 600, Edelbrock Perf, HEI and a ton of miles), 727 Torqueflight, Dana 300 Twin Stick, Dana 44's have Lockers. Lift is Spring Over in front with Rancho add-a-leafs, rear is just spring blocks (plans for shackle flip...someday), the wheels are 15x10 with 35's. I'd like to fix it up and repaint it someday, until then I'll just keep enjoying it as is.

Just purchase this 1979 J10 from an estate sale. Owned by an Airforce Pilot who left it in his garage in texas since 1986. Showing 19800 on odometer. perfect shape, everything works, 258 with three speed manual

I fixed some bad links in earlier posts. :o The truck below will probably end up at our place some day. It belongs to Krista's dad. He bought it in 2000 for a work truck. He has flogged this thing pretty good. It had a .030 over rebuild a few years ago and added Pertronix breakerless ignition and twice pipes. It is up for the work he puts it through. This picture is the last time it had a bath, about 5 years ago when we borrowed it for a couple days. :p

Man I can't wait to get mine next week now. BTW anyone know where I might find a sportside bed or the plans to make one. I want to run exhaust stacks on mine so I want a sportside bed. Actually if all goes right one stack will be exhuast the other one will be my snorkel.
it will easier, cheaper, more options, way more functionality as well.

It looks gorgeous! My '79 Honcho was originally the same outside color with Levi's interior. I havent seen a blue Honcho with the strobe pattern in 20 years... take me back to my childhood.

This was Easter of 1986, my dad had the Honcho loaded with factory AMC/Jeep camper shell with a little boat tied down
to it. im the sharp dressed tyke holding the Easter basket :)
