Really running like a bucking horse! New everything but coil. Wet days make it much worse. Clue..If I pull the coil spark wire off the top of the coil about half an inch, she runs better. When the wire is all the way in, runs like crap. I've never experienced a bad coil before. I believe it is the original coil. Help!!

chiltonos or haynes will tell you how to test a coil with a multimeter. a new one is less than $15.

Runs for a little while and then quits and either fires right back up or doesn't for about 15 minutes until the coil cools down. Coils have the life span of about 2 years of continous use before going bad according to most manufactures.

Bucking could also be a misfire/crossfire, so check the wires and routing.

I'm really having a difficult time getting this 360 to run on all eight. It just keeps bucking and missing. What plugs have proven to be most effective in the 360?

Plain copper core plugs, like regular Autolites. make sure everything is tight and the wires are correct

running real rich, dumping raw fuel into the exhaust then touching it off blowing up the muffler and melting the cat. Generally running real lousy. the same general symptoms as a flooding carb.
