Hi i am from Australia and own a 1967 FSJ j3000 gladiator thriftside one of only 524 FSJ built in Australia by the willy corporation pty ltd. it runs a 232 motor, T98 gearbox with a DANA 20 transfer case. the diffs are 44 frount end and 53 rear end with 4.88 diff ratio.
Iv been told its a (matching numbers) car.
(1)So what dose that mean all parts and panles match, or just drive line numbers match ?
(2)Is it worth keeping it stock ?
(3)Are there eny problems with the 67 production that should be ripped out or replaced ?

Sounds like a nice rig. Post up some pictures. The matching numbers are for the drive line i.e. engine and trans that's a real plus in some circles. As for what to do with it, do what you like, it's yours. Stock would be cool, but they look so great modified too. You could always modify it, and keep the original parts and go back to stock later, or if you sold it enclude the old parts as part of the deal. Could be a selling point.
P.S. Welcome to the madness!
