I called the dealer and they want $65 for the supply side. This is just a metal line/tube, right? What a case of robbery!!

I can get lengths of the line at Autozone and cut and bend to fit. My question is: what does the line look like where it attaches to the transmission? Does the line screw in to the tranny or is it like the front side where you clamp it to a rubber line which goes into the radiator? Hoping to get out of this cheaply!! Thanks guys.

Has anyone tried using off the shelf lines and just fabricated them to fit? I'm just curious about the end that goes to the tranny, as I won't be able to get under the Waggie till this weekend.

Just get a bunch of 60" 3/8" brake lines. Will probably take a different fittings to get it to go into the tranny but you should be able to do it fairly easily. I just plumbed a 3/8" fuel line from my electric pump to my filter-reg-carb. Took about 2 hrs to get the tubing all bent and tied in place. Tranny lines would be much easier as they don't have to follow body lines and etc.

my trans lines have hoses clamped on them for the final connection to the radiator and the cooler. the lines should have brackets standing them off from the oil pan in a few spots.

Yeah, OK. But coming out of the transmission, how does the line connect to the tranny? Is it a screw-in fitting or does the line get clamped onto another rubber hose, like by the radiator? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I think its a threaded fitting. I'm an idiot and was able to figure it out. I just took the old line out and took it to advance auto and they hooked me up. Just had to bend it to fit, but it worked.
