Im workin on a Bronco II for one of my neighbors and it has me completely stumped. When you turn the key on, nothing is getting power. The headlights wont even come on. I replaced the solonoid and thats not it. Also i looked for the Power Distribution Box and its nowhere to be found. Typical ford crap. Its getting power to the solonoid, and from the solonoid to the map sensor but not past the map sensor. I thinkin thats it but not for sure, can anyone help me please.

I would guess bad body ground. The headlights should come on even when the ignition is turned off. When you tested the solinoid for power did you use the body or engine for ground? On some of the 'newer' trucks they tried to isolate the body from the frame/drivetrain to help with road noise. THis makes the ground strap even more important.

I don't know about a bronko2 but I do know that the 90 F150 and others had 2 (Two) grounds on the same negative wire from the battery that went to the starter. Unless you looked real close you would miss the one in the middle of the wire. It looked like it was just a clamp that held the wire but it was actually a ground and a clamp both.
