I put a new steering stab. on and the braket with the 4 nuts that hold it to the tie-rod looks to have slid from it's previous position. My question is, where is it supposed to be mounted on the tie-rod? Mine is off to the right. Im guessing it is supposed to be centered, say with the oil pan? Any thoughts? Thanks Dennis

The manual doesn't have a "set" position and not all stabilizers are alike in total travel. I always use this method. Straighten the wheels first. I disconnect the tie rod end of the stabilizer and compress it all the way. Mark where the eye is with a piece of tape on the tie rod. Now exxttend the stabilizer the full way. Mark this spot with tape as well. You now know the full travel of the stabilizer. Find the middle of the travel and plant the tie rod bracket right there. Sometimes it looks tight to the diff, but cycle the wheels back and forth and you will see it will be okay!

That's the way I did mine as well... just be certain of the clearance on the front diff cover... mine twisted a bit (unknowingly) and I lost a bit of turning radius and dented the front cover...
this comes in the nick of time. i am just got a new one from rancho. gonna put it on this week
