need a carb kit for my 76 j20 but it has a 70ish drivetrain with the buick 350. has a rochester carb #702808. order one from autozone for a 70 j20 with 350 and kit is not correct. anyone have any ideas on where to get or to identify carb. found one place that says its off a 68 jeep with 350 but such a jeep doesn't come up in a search.

The parts store should be able to go into the catalog (not the computer) and match the carb number to the proper kit.

Go to a real parts store that has a catalogue instead of a computer. That is a good number for a rochester. I worked line mechanic for severaql years and always ordered carb kits by carb numbers, always got the right one that way.

You're missing a digit on that carb #; post up the correct number, and I can look up its original application.
