Will a 4 core replacement radiator from a 78 J20 with a 401 bolt into an 67 M715 (not concerned with where the input/outputs are)?

Not really sure, but I would have to say no. The main reason is that the older kaiser era trucks had a 25" rad and then they switched to 27" in about 74 or so.

What are you doing on Sunday? You should drive on up to Richlands for the WOT. I am going to hopefully be wrenching on my M715 and a few other wags and cheros will be here, not to mention food. Check out the event secction for the details

I saw the post about the wrench o thon. I may make it if all goes well.

I stumbled across an almost local M715 that is in need of a radiator and a couple of small parts. If I get it, I am hoping to have it delivered on Saturday. If it all works out, I'll be free on Sunday and I can come up. I've been wanting to look at one that is apart so I can see what I'm getting into.

Hope to see you then.

I have another rad but not really sure on the condition of it. I also hope to have my new one for parts here this Saturday. It will be a good time, hope you can make it.

Here are the sellers pics. I paid $1060 plus $200 to have it delivered.

These are high res and take a while to load. The windows are covered with frost.

By the way, what is the thing bolted to the hood?

Sweet deal!! Where did you find that at? The thing on the hood is the blackout light. When you get a chance look at the serial number and delivery date. Then go over to www.m715zone. (http://www.m715zone.) and post the numbers over there so your truck can be added to the registry. Once again nice truck! Come on up here to the WOT and we can talk about it and you can see one in pieces :( .

I found it somewhere I never expected to be able to afford one - ebay! The guy listed it as a parts vehicle as he didn't have a title but he ended up getting one.

I couldn't believe it when I won.

I should be at the WOT on Sunday. He can't deliver it until after Sunday so he is gonna wait till Wednesday as the title will be in on Tuesday.

I saw that on there but it didn't have a picture so I didn't even give it a second look. I know better next time ;) .

Radiator from a CJ series Jeep is just about a bolt in (not sure on water neck sides though).
You can also swap the front piece from a civvy model Jeep and use that J20 radiator.

Btw, PC, have you been to the new setup on the Zone?

I will have the entire site switched over to that in the next week or so.

Billy, welcome to the M715 group. Tons of fun!

Hammer, I have been over there and posted already. I like it much better! This site needs to go to something like that. Why is it so slow though?

It's running slow because I am running the database on my personal site for now. So it has to link to a seperate site/location to get any info. That will change soon though.
And yeah, I really like the features that is offered. That is why I chose that program to run the site on.
Sure you don't want to be a Moderator on that board as well ;)
