gas guage doesn't work...

..out of this 79 chief. Where can I get a replacement or what can I do, any idea on how to make sure the guage is in fact bad?

BJ's off road has them.... there are ways to test the wiring...where most of the time you find the negative ground being a culprit...but I can't remember for sure what it was, I had found it in all available manuals, particularly the Haynes...

BTW, do you know if your sending unit is good or not?
