I have a leak in my heater core and will need to replace it. Is the only way to replace it to remove the windshield, and open the dash or is it another way?
All replies will be greatly appriciated!
sorry, I can't help myself.....
looking at your avatar it looks like you already removed the windshield :D
I'm interested in an answer to this question also, so I'll wait till someone who actually knows answers the question.

Your heater-core should be located on the passenger side of the engine bay, right on the firewall. You'll see an odd box-shaped enclosure... very easy access. No windshield or dash removal. Good luck. smile.gif
P.S. Think your gonna need to resize your avatar to 150 pixals wide, max.

There are some bolts inside under the dash on the firewall that need to be removed to get the heater box off. If you have AC, it is very difficult to get to these. Other than that, the job is very easy.
