Piston wrist pin

I need to replace a piston in my '82 360. I'm currently having trouble getting the wrist pin removed from the piston/rod assembly. Is there any trick to removing/installing the wrist pin. I am trying to press it out, but it doesn't seem to budge. Is there any type of mechanism holding it in place?
Once I get it out, is there anything I should do when replacing it (adhesives, heat, etc)?

You will have to heat it to get it out and back in.

take it to a machine shop and let them press it off and the the new one on
