Finally got the T18/D20 swapped into the Wagoneer. The driveshaft that came on the donor Cherokee is a couple inches too short since I installed RB's shackle flip. My question is, would it be better/cheaper to have an extra J10 driveshaft I have shortened or have the original one from the Cherokee donor lengthened? The J10 shaft looks about twice the diameter of the one from the Cherokee donor. Just looking for opinions. Thanks

Shortening is cheaper.. I saw that diameter thing when i was looking at a J10 in a junk yard.. it made mine look tiny...

I would go for shortening too, much cheaper, but just make sure that the larger diameter shaft will have enough clearance on the Wag for exhaust, skidplates, gas tanks, whatever else is there.

I believe it will clear, I'll double check tomorrow. Do y'all think it would be wise to have one of those CV jobs put on from a front axle?
