I've got 78Chief's gun racks from his rig (1978 Cherokee). Mounting looks to be difficult, I think his window seal may be different. It's the kind of rack that you slide between the weather seal and the window. My weather seal is TIGHT, no room to play with. Was going to loosen the metal trim around the seal to see if that helped, but wanted to consult here first before I boogered anything up.

I've got a picture of a Wag with these same racks. Don't know who the guy is or how he did it.

As always, TIA.

I think that will work...I'm not too familar with the wag weather seal. Try wedging a standard screwdriver between it and the glass and easing the racks in...use some kind of grease maybe too. Be careful with the screwdriver deal...I broke one of my side mirrors trying to get the seal off...if it doesn't want to move DON'T give it hell http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

Hope this helps

Found a solution! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

I can't fathom why I didn't find this in all my searches for gun racks in the last month. I don't even have to worry about screwing up the weather seal.
