Well I just pulled my axles to clean up and well for fun. I figure I might as well paint em while they are out. What should I paint them with? I was thinkin Hammerite would do well but id like a second or third opinion.

:Love that Hammerite...used it on a 3ph motor in my shop and it looks like new...very professional looking...Can't say how it would last on the ground...Ever thought of powder coating?

I use Dupli-color engine enamel on all my stuff - Hard as nails dosnt chip on impact (very much ) and you can paint it right on top of greese and it still drys

Im already using the hammerite. Ive used it before and I love it. I mean its cheap and a spray paint can, great looking and I paint it on anything and it still looks great. I painted my trailor I was fixing up with it and the trailor looks like new. All I did was take a wire wheel to the thing and then painted. I pressure washed my axles and frame and so far the paint looks fantastic. Ill posts some pics when Im done if i can figure out how.
