I don't know how in the world it happened but I spun the reduction unit shaft on my quadra trac stripping the teeth in the sun gear leaving me with only low range. It was not a fast drive home. What now?? I took apart the reduction and sure enough the shaft spins inside the sun gear. Does anybody know of a place that would sell parts like this? I tried all over the net to find one and no luck. Is there a way I could convert the case back to the standard with out the reduction unit? Any options would be great.

Yes the reduction unit was an option. I think I still have my gear and cover for a non lowrange Q trac in the garage next to the spiders. This will run it ditectly. Let me know if you want it. and I dig it out.

I have Q trac with low range out of a '77 Wagoneer (my dad is pulling the engine and tranny this weekend to ship it to me to fix my leak). The T-Case worked when I was driving the '77 last year, should be in good working order. Let me know if you need it (would ship from CO).
