i have an old wagoneer 63 or64 vin 1414 37176 itried to bleed the clutch and when i opened the bleeder screw the pedal shot to the floor,oops,what did i do and how do i fix it.i am dying to drive it HELP

Just like bleeding the brakes. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid, have someone pump the clutch pedal. Hold the pedal down, open the bleeder valve slightly untill bubbles and fluid come out, then close the valve. Continue the operation untill no bubbles come out, only fluid. Also watch the fluid in the reservoir while you are doing this so the fluid doesn't get too low or you have to start from scratch.

I've messed around with these a bunch, and it's VERY gratifying when you get good parts and it works the way it's supposed to!
You can drive yourself insane trying to make it work with a leaky slave or master cylinder. But I'm sure you know that by now...
